Mr. Korem came to MISD to talk to an audience that, for the most part, consisted of MISD’s principals and assistant principals. His topic, The Missing Protector Strategy, focused on how schools can positively impact the lives of some of their disenfranchised students.
Mr. Korem was invited to the district because of the initiative of Dr. Al Hemmle, Midlothian High School Principal, and Ms. Dena Petty, Movement Toward a Future Coordinator.
