Not All …

Not all of our children can run, jump, or be on athletic teams … but all of our children can be loved.

I frequently post pictures of Midlothian ISD athletes to this blog and highlight a website to view additional pictures (http://midmoments.smugmug.com).

On October 25, 2011, I attended a special event at Paws for Reflection, a Midlothian-based business where students and animals interact. The special event was Ms. Kerry Hutchinson’s (Community Based Instruction (CBI) teacher at T. E. Baxter Elementary School) students visiting the ranch (see CBI).

All of her children got to ride a horse that day, including the young child in the wheelchair pictured above. Oh, did he enjoy the ride.

It took several adults to get him on the horse, and several to take him off.

But it only took one adult, his teacher, to carry him the 30 yards back to his wheelchair.

Is there any doubt that he is loved?
