Midlothian ISD: One of the Best Districts in the State

The Dallas Business Journal (DBJ) recently (Friday, March 23, 2012) published a “Guide to Schools.” In the guide, “You’ll find case studies from the 15 ISDs in the area that earned top marks in a statewide study of educational return on taxpayer investment.”

Midlothian ISD (MISD) is one of the 15 North Texas ISDs featured.

The study DBJ referenced is FAST – Financial Allocation Study for  Texas. MISD earned the top rating of 5 for placement in The Honor Circle. It is one of only 35 Texas public school districts to earn that rank and designation.

The DBJ states, “… it’s not surprising that … [FAST] has designated Midlothian ISD as one of the best school districts in the state at giving an education for the dollar.”

Congratulations to all the great people (faculty, staff, students, parents, and citizens) who make MISD such a special place.
