CmPS Innovation Award

The Community Problem Solvers (CmPS), under the leadership of Ms. Christina McDaniel, earned the first-ever Innovation Award. This award is for the most innovative CMPS project in Texas.

The CmPS’s project’s title is E3-ECO Education for our Environment. Judges wrote:

  • MOST IMPRESSIVE – the greenhouse made out of recycled plastic water bottles.
  • Amazed with how the bottles serve both as a construction material and a reservoir for the greenhouse.
  • The changes implemented had immediate and quantifiable results….
  • … Impressed that the students developed a comprehensive approach, not just tackling one thing (it had 4 components … electricity, water, conservation & recycling.

Congratulations!
