WGMS Choir Makes the Grade

Every year, the Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) hosts a convention. At the convention, a very few select bands and choirs are invited to perform. The best of the best are chosen through a rigorous audition process.

For the 2013 TMEA Convention, the Walnut Grove Middle School (WGMS) Tenor/Bass Choir made the grade; it was chosen to perform, and it was the only middle school boys choir to earn a trip to and performance at the convention.

This is an incredible honor. To put it in perspective, it is like being named the Texas State Champion of Middle School Choirs.

Congratulations Mr. Cliff Carbone (WGMS Choir Director) and the WGMS Tenor/Bass Choir!

At Midlothian ISD, when we celebrate one, we celebrate everyone.
