The Plan for Midlothian Heritage High School and Grades 9-12

MHHS-Blue copyAt its regular school board meeting on Sept 15, 2014, The Midlothian ISD Trustees voted to make Midlothian Heritage High School (MHHS) a comprehensive high school. The process starts in 2015-16 when MHHS will house grades 9-11 (approximately 600 students). The following school year (2016-17), MHHS will house grades 9-12 (approximately 800 students).

Many decisions about the MHHS 9-12 plan have yet to be made. For example, the Heritage High School attendance zone has not been set. A decision on zoning is planned for the regularly scheduled December School Board Meeting (Monday, Dec 15, 5:30 p.m. (L.A. Mills Admin Building)).

In between now and December 15, the Board has set four MHHS 9-12 Townhall Meetings and it invites you to attend.  Those meetings are:

Monday, Nov 3, 2014, 6:30 p.m, MHHS Cafetorium
Monday, Nov 10, 2014, 6:30 p.m., MISD Board Room
Saturday, Nov 15, 2014, 8:30 a.m., MISD Board Room
Monday, Dec 1, 2014, 6:30 p.m., MHHS Cafetorium
