So Easy To Read, So Hard To Do: You Can’t Serve God and Money (Matthew 6:24) (XVI)

This is the sixteenth in a series of blogs on the ease of reading the words of Jesus in the book of Matthew … and the difficulty of following them.

You can’t worship two gods at once. You can’t worship God and Money both.
(The Message, Matthew 6:24)

Actually, it’s pretty easy to serve two gods at once, if one goes by how some Christians live. Those “some Christians” serve God and money and it sure looks like it works for them.

So, what’s the problem?

The problem is God said it can’t be done.

So, where will you place your bet? God or money?
