Goalie

0O5A3783.JPGThe following story was told by Dr. Fred Sorrells, President of the International Institute of Sports, on the night (Nov 14, 2015) that the Haiti National Amputee Soccer Team played a demonstration match at Lumpkins Stadium, Waxahachie ISD.

The future goalie was visiting family when the earthquake hit (Haiti 2010). The house he was in collapsed on him and all its inhabitants. He spent four days trapped under the rubble and was the lone survivor. An infection developed in his hand. That led to three amputation surgeries.
