There are times when I just want to scream, “I quit!” – I want so badly to give up, give in, stop.
But then I hear a word no louder than a whisper,”No.”
And that word is from God.
The Bible states, “He who endures to the end shall be saved,” (Matthew 24:13, NKJV).
Endurance does not produce salvation, rather faith makes possible a God-powered endurance.
So, in this life when my flesh yearns to quit, I remember that my life is not a “me” thing – it’s a “we” thing: God and me; and in Him quitting is not an option: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me,” (Philippians 4:13, NKJV).
