Evidently, my life is bigger than just me – it’s a Jesus thing.
When I read John 9:1-3, I get of glimpse of what that might mean. Before Jesus brought physical sight to a man blind from birth, He had this exchange with his disciples:
Now as Jesus passed by, He saw a man who was blind from birth. And His disciples asked Him, saying, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?”
Jesus answered,”Neither this man nor his parents sinned, but that the works of God should be revealed in him.”
In my darkest moments, it helps to know that Jesus stands before me ready and willing to give me sight – spiritual sight. As He said within this exchange with His disciples, “I am the light of the world.”
I see the light when I see Jesus.
