This summer, my wife and I enjoyed a unique experience at a state-sponsored, roadside rest stop in Missouri: a one-person concert.
With her service dog at her feet, she played and played and played for all to enjoy. No, the music wasn’t concert grade, but it was angelic nonetheless, for she gave from her heart at her God-given best as the summer air was filled with sense of peace and beauty.
We walked by her out-of-the-way station and said thank you.
Her deeply yellow teeth and toothless gaps were visible as she smiled in appreciation.
Music from a good heart is music at its best.
